Jet Lag

Jet Lag is Stupid. Both nights Cam and I have woken up at 7:00 am and been wide awake. Plus it doesn't help that the toilet is down the hall (where I saw a beetle so a have to where shoes). Everything here has a lot of buttons even our toilet there's a button to open the lid, a button to open the seat, and a button to close them both. Plus buttons to squirt cleansing water at your bum and one for your um front bum. . . Weird. Our school owns a Dog it's very cute a Pomeranian named Russell but were not aloud to touch him yet. I guess Russell bit one of the former teachers on her first day and then hated her and tried to bite her always from then on. So they want us to work our way up to touching. He seems friendly enough he doesn't bark or growl when we walk by and we have to walk by to get to our apartment. We went grocery shopping yesterday and bought some rice and noodles and chicken. Narumi (the owner of the school) and Matt (the manager of the school) took us out for sushi. We were a little bit worried but we knew we would have to try real sushi (not just california rolls) eventually. It was fantastic. Narumi ordered everything and it was absolutely delicious. Also for breakfast we've been eating these instant noodles that taste kind of like ichiban and they only cost about 90 cents Canadian. Today Cam went to work and I stayed home to unpack all of our stuff. It's 6:00 and Cam won't be home until 9:30. I'm already done unpacking. I'm glad I'm not here by myself if I didn't have Cam to talk to it would get very lonely very fast!! I should make myself some dinner we bought this rice and beef stew type thingy. Wish me luck!!!!!!!

This is so cool! I'm so glad you have a blog for your stay there. What exactly is the time difference between there and here? Love all the pics. I'm jealous about the sushi. Maybe I'll have to convince Dario that we need to come visit you in Japan next year. ;)
I'll try to visit the site often! Hope the jet l;ag goes away soon! Glad you arrived safe and sound!

Dang...... The Battle-Axe and I hope that you two have a great time in Japan. I posted earlier about the Fookieama surprise based on my favorite Budweiser commercial.
